Time at Durham
Daniel spent two wonderful years at Durham as a postgraduate researcher in the Music Department from 2013-15, studying the intersection of music and theology in 17th and 18th century Britain. As a member of University College, he was vice president of the MCR and director of music of Castle Chapel, where he led the choir in high-profile engagements in Durham, Oxford, and abroad, and even on a BBC Radio 3 broadcast. He also was a choral scholar at Durham Cathedral and served as secretary of the LBGTQ+ Association.
After Durham, Daniel transitioned into the financial field, obtaining his MS in accounting from his undergraduate alma mater, Boston College. Since then he has worked in financial oversight and compliance in the private sector as well as non-profit accounting. Currently Daniel is Manager of Financial Applications & Reporting at Boston College. He holds a BA from Boston College and an MM from Boston University, and is pursuing his MBA at Boston College.
